  • Mounting to path instead of drive letter

I'm trying to mount an ISO but have it available under my FTP directory structure (which is on my D: drive). Can I do this, or will it only go to a drive letter? I'm basically trying to do the equivalent of a mount -o loop command in Linux.

    Thanks!

It's only available in the Pro versions of DAEMON Tools
Not exactly the equivalent as you need at least one virtual drive.
In the Device Parameters you can map that drive to an empty NTFS folder.

If you want to use it with the lite version please have a look here:
How to create and use NTFS mounted drives in Windows XP and in Windows Server 2003
I'm not employed by Disc Soft and my views do not necessarily reflect the ones of the company.

That is fascinating - never seen that option before! I think that will work. Thanks!
