red alert 2 still asks for disc

hi, i just made an image of red alert 2 allied disc using safedisc profile, then mounted and installed the game from the image

however when i mount the image again, the launcher appears and I click play at which point it asks me to insert the correct cd-rom and restart

weird considering i was able to install and explore the image's contents

same thing happened with age of empires 2 so i assume its not the disc. also i was installed and playing from the disc earlier

Disc must be in lowest drive letter.
