  • unable to move images

I made an image of my "game" disk, onto my computer.
I need it for my laptop that doesn't have a cd-drive. I have done this before, but with this one it just doesn't work.
I have tried two different computers, and it is the same problem.

When I want to move the image to my USB drive, it says that there isn't enough room. Even though the file is 4,93 GB and there is 7,95 GB of free space.

Can anyone explain, and give me a solution??

    I am desperate!

FAT32 is your problem, convert to NTFS.

You have to use some archiver (e.g. 7-zip) to split image into parts smaller than 4 Gb and then you will be able to copy them to USB Stick. On target system you then just unpack archive back into single file and use it.

Converting file system to NTFS if not recommended as NTFS kills USB Stick quickly due to frequent transaction log writes which get into the same area all the time.
