  • Got Blue Screen while trying to remove a drive

I selected to remove the virtual drive i had installed and all of the sudden i get a blue screen and it stops my computer from starting up. So i have to restore it to an earlier point in time.
What happened? I am using the latest version of Daemon Tools And I have windows vista.

Please post latest minidump available (c:\windows\minidump).

Are you using DT or SCSI/IDE virtual drive?
    DT Lite or Pro?

You have to zip the minidump and then you can attach it here.

              Hi!
I have the same problem, whenever I try to remove the drive appears a blue screen, I have Windows 7 and the lastest version of Deamon Tools Lite (August 2011). I was wondering if anyone might help me.
              Here is the minidump

You find that driver in c:\windows\system32\drivers.

Well, I deleted it, but it's still rebot (and the blue screen appears) whenever I try to remove the virtual driver, uninstall the program to reinstall, and when remove a memory disc from the computer. Any suggetions
                      Again, Thank you so much

Crash is happening in USBSTOR.SYS now. Is your Windows up2date?
Have you tried to unplug all usb drives?
