  • New Relationship between THE DAEMONS HOME and ROCKETDIVISION!

    Hello Community,

    I'm proud to announce our relationship with our new partners, Rocketdivision.
    We cooperate in several areas now to improve our products and vice versa,
    which lead hopefully to more satisfied Daemon Tools users and of course
    some brand new products!

    The first new product we want to introduce here is StarPort/StarWind.
    Here's a little description of those products:

    StarPort - iSCSI Initiator and RAM disk

    * Map remotely located SCSI device just as it would be your local one
    * Share any CD/DVD burners over the network and use them with your favorite burning application on a local machine
    * Share hard disk drives for fast storing large amounts of data
    * Share SCSI tape devices
    * Work with the virtual volumes, dynamic snapshots at server side, incremental backup applications
    * Create extremely fast RAM disk drives
    * Create Virtual DVD-ROM (MDS-format compatible!)

    StarWind - iSCSI Target

    * Export local SCSI device just as it would be your local one on remote machine
    * Share any CD/DVD burners and use them with your favorite burning tool at the client side
    * Share hard disk drives for fast storing large amounts of data
    * Share SCSI tapes for working with remote tape backup clients
    * Work with the virtual volumes, dynamic snapshots, incremental backup

    We created also two new forums for this and further applications, one public
    board and one for StarPort/StarWind customers.
