  • deamon error

Operating System: win xp home sp1
    Burning Software: none
    Anti-virus Software: norton 2003
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

I have had problems with deamon tools since i installed my dvd burner.
The problem i have now after dealing with a few other problems like the drive still showing in explorer after uninstall wich i revoked by following the instructions on this forum from the administrator and deleting pnp BIOS is this code that comes up when i want to install deamon "Device setup error: code 25040 (0x61D0),80(0x50)"
Also when i first log into windows a pop up screen gives me this "error device not installed"
    Any idea whatґs causing this?
    Thanx in advance
    Nick.

Follow the steps described in thread about error 25002 in common problems and solutions forum in order to remove leftovers from previous un-installation completely, reboot, then install v3.46.

oks first of all, i think you get and error on c:\windows\daemon.dll....if so go to that path and find daemon.bak it have to be on there......or atleast for me, anyway if the file is there rename it to .dll and run the program that works for me
