  • Help on Mounting an Image.

When i try to mount an image using daemon tools pro standard edition it says " You need to have at least one drive", i am using windows 7 64bit, on my old laptop that was windows vista 32 bit it never showed this problem, i am thinking it is because my laptop had 2 Bd-ROM drives which for some reason are not visible now and daemon tools is unistalled on it, so i have 2 thoughts, 1: daemon tools only works on systems that have a bd-rom drive or any extra drives. or 2: daemon tools installs drives on installation but for some reason it didn't for me. so i just need to know why it says i need at least one drive and how do i add a drive?

Please try this Microsoft FixIt solution and reboot: Your CD or DVD drive can't read or write media

If that doesn't solve the problem please try to manually delete upper/lower filter as described here (Resolution):
The CD drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that is running Windows Vista
