  • [SCSI - 0] Invalid (Cannot successfully create virtual drives)

    Hi there,

As the title says, when I try to create a new drive, it says the drive is invalid, and even if I assign a letter to the drive, it doesn't appear in Computer.

I'm using Daemon Tools Lite 4.47.1.0333, SPTD version 1.83

Running Windows 7 32 bit on a laptop. Please let me know if any further information is needed.

Please first try this Microsoft FixIt solution:
Your CD or DVD drive can't read or write media

If that doesn't solve the problem please try to manually delete upper/lower filter as described here (Resolution):
The CD drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that is running Windows Vista (also works on Windows XP & 7).
I'm not employed by Disc Soft and my views do not necessarily reflect the ones of the company.
