  • Unable to add virtual device, DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device XFailed

I have been looking through the forums, haven't found anything specifically to me on how to solve this. I updated my Windows 7 with the regular updates and suddenly the virtual devices are not able to mount or appear at all. I have restarted my computer, reinstalled DTL, updated DTL, restarted it after I did all that, added SCSI and restarted. I tried the Microsoft fix it, it did jack chit. I also saw something about autoruns... but i dont know how it works or what to do with it. I heard I needed to press F8 while restarting the computer... i didn't know where to go from there. Clearly im a professional at the computer

OS Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
    Intel i5 760 @ 2.80GHz 3.60GHz overclocked
    Ram (only) 4GB
    64-bit operating system

    Daemon Tools lite version 4.47.1.0333

Please for the love of all that's good on earth, someone help me, hold my hand... or just hold me through this.
Working...
