  • Drive......Please Help Me

    Operating System: Xp
    Burning Software: None
    Anti-virus Software: Norton
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

This is the third time i posted my problem................PLEASE HELP...

I had daemon tools installed before and it always worked perfect.

Until I updated daemon tools to version 3.46........after installation and rebooting...I cant see my virtual drive.

I assigned a drive letter to it.......... it still didnt work.
I uninstalled all burning applications.........it still didnt work.
I updated the aspi drivers........still didnt work...
I renamed the driver......still didnt work.

I know one strange thing after installing daemon tools...it asks for the driver for the new found hardware...i directed it to the windows/system32/drivers folder but it couldnt find the needed file.

BUT in the device manager its says the device is working without any problems.

SO PLEASE HELP ME......i cant find my virtual drive.....and i dont know where i lost it

This probably means MS catalog files with digital signatures on your PC are broken.
In the device manager try to force standard driver for virtual CDROM from cdrom.inf that is supplied with OS.
This problem may be fixed by uninstalling/reinstalling service pack.
