I have a movie in .bin format and I can get it to mount and open in a media player but the player locks up. I've tried Real Player, Windows Media Player and ATI Media Center and each one locked.

*Flash back a couple weeks*

I have the same movie on my computer and I mount it with daemon tools and it played just fine in Real Player. But, due to some minor mishaps I was forced to reformat my harddrive. So, what I was thinking is it might be a driver problem.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the lockups?

After re-format/re-installation first guess is always ASPI drivers ;)
try to update with e.g. ForceASPI 1.7 or official Adaptec 4.71.2

For some reason or another the ability for Real and Windows Media Player to play DVD's got corrupted. I am able to open up the movies in Power DVD though. Thanks for the help :D
