  • USB problem

Operating System: XP SP1 with patches
    Burning Software: nero 6
    Anti-virus Software: norton (latest)
    DAEMON Tools Version: latest

I tried installing daemon tools but i kept getting hardware conflict errors, I rebooted and went into device manager and there was a yellow mark next to a usb device. I uninstalled it was well as everything else under USB expecting it to all be detected when i rebooted. When windows loaded up again it did detect it but is asked a me where to install from.. well i couldnt choose a place since both my keyboard and mouse are usb.So I plugged in a ps/2 mouse and keyboard and rebooted, but same thing happend. I have tried everything i could think of but it doesnt fix it

motherboard is an Asus AK77-600N KT600 chipset with latest bios
