Game launches fine with disc, but only sometimes without the disc (image created)

Okay, so it says "Sony DADC" on the inner rim of the disc. But is it protected with SecuROM old or new in DAEMON Tools options? That's the question. The game's Robot Wars Extreme Destruction, released in late 2002.

2002 was the turning point to New SecuROM. Could be a SecuROM 4.83 version.

To confirm you can check the installation dir with BurnOut or Protection ID.
