  • unable to mount image. unable to open file in kernel mode

Anti-virus Software: mcafee virus scan enterprise 7.1
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.29

    Hello,

we've installed the daemon tools on two of our servers. On most servers the daemon tools run fine. But there we got an error message like "unable to mount image. unable to open file in kernel mode" if we try to mount a image. We've tried several versions of daemon tools but all versions show the same error message. Where could be the reason for this behavoir?

    Greetings

    Ben
