The Sims 2 mount problem

I have Sims 2 the DVD edition and i tried to back it up on my computer (XP pro sp2) I made a an image of it using Alcohol 120% and I mounted it with the new DAEMON tools, I made an .mds and when I try to run the game , the splash screen comes up and either nothing happens or if i click the icon again it prompts me saying that the game has crashed.

got "only" the 4CD-Version, but it works perfectly for me & DT. :P
Image was created one time with CCD and one with Alcohol.

Shure, I know, that you can't really put a Preset on DVD, but, maybe you should try the new CloneCD v.5.0.22

The ChangeLOG tells something about "new DVD features".
