Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP2 DirectX 9.0c
      Burning Software: Nero (latest version)
Anti-virus Software: TrendMicro HouseCall (online AV)
      DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

Just uninstall your "Roxio Creator Classic V6.1.1.48" application.
Daemon Tools is incompatible with this burning software and if present, may cause instability in the system when using Daemon Tools.

Use Alcohol 120% instead, I moved to this burning software and it works great (better than Roxio app)

A little correction: It's not Daemon Tools, it's buggy Roxio crap which is incompatible with most other cd recording applications due to excessive bugs in Roxio drivers.
