  • IDE Hard drive changed to SCSI when I installed SP2 and updated Dt to 3.47

Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP2
    Burning Software: Nero 6.0.0.0
Anti-virus Software: Norton Internet Security Professional 2004
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

After I installed SP2 to my computer windows changed my 160Gb Maxtor 6Y160L0 IDE drive settings so that it now says it's a SCSI drive. My computer is really slow. I think it uses Daemon Tools's SCSI controller.

Primary Ultra ATA/ATAPI Channel settings/details says this:
    "Compatible Ids" says "GEN_SCSIADAPTER"
    And
    "Bus Relations" says "SCSI\Disk&Ven_Maxtor_6&Prod_Y160L0&Rev_YAR4\1&380 6d43&0&000"

Only SCSI controller I have is Daemon tools's virtual controller.

It worked fine with XP SP1 and Daemon Tools 3.46 (I updated both at same time so don't know which one is the reason)

EDIT: I also have tried to reinstall windows from scratch couple of times, but it hasn't helped.
