  • Getting BSOD when uninstalling Lite version

My PC is completely new and after daemon tools failed at booting a virtual device I tried to re install but while uninstalling I got a BSOD, Tried it again to verify it was the uninstall process that caused the BSOD and it crashed again. Im running windows 8.1, Please help me I just bought this pc after my last one died and I thought I wont see this blue screen again for a long time.

Please try to manually delete upper/lower filter entries as described here (Resolution) and reboot:
The CD drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that is running Windows Vista (also works on Windows XP/7/8/8.1).

If that doesn't solve the problem please remove DT lite & SPTD manually as described here: Removing DAEMON Tools Lite manually | daemon-help.com
If still present delete this regkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\servic es\dtsoftbus01
Reboot, and also delete C:\ProgramData\DAEMON Tools Lite.
Now reinstall latest DT lite version.

Please also provide your (zipped) Minidump file.
