  • I can not install DTLite 5.0.1 and above ?

    Hello,

I can not install DTLite 5.0.1 and above ?

    ...

    DTLite 4.47.1 installs correctly

    DTLite 4.48.1 installs correctly

    DTLite 4.49.1 installs correctly

    DTLite 5.0.1

    DTLite 10.0.0

    DTLite 10.1.0

I can read in the background : Already Installed

That may be the problem ?

However, I uninstalled DTLite 4.49.1, cleaned the registry with CCleaner, cleaned the registry manually using keywords : daemon, dtlite, dtpro.

So how can I erase all traces of DTLite ?

    Thanks.

Delete C:\ProgramData\DAEMON Tools Lite and C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\DAEMON Tools Lite and retry.

Is DAEMON Tools Virtual Bus still present as described here: Removing DAEMON Tools Lite manually | daemon-help.com

If installed, uninstall SPTD with the standalone installer from DuplexSecure: DuplexSecure - Downloads

If everything fails try a silent installation:
For DT lite 10 you have to go to %userprofile%\ AppData\Local\Temp after running the small DTLiteInstaller.exe,
and copy the complete DAEMON Tools Lite.exe installer to your desktop or wherever.
Then open the command-line and install with the /S switch (upper-case S !), for example:
        Code:
        "C:\Users\Terramex\Desktop\DAEMON Tools lite.exe" /nocandy /S

            Does this key exist ?
            Code:
            Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

            [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Disc Soft\DAEMON Tools Lite\GuiNamespace]
            "IsFTFTLoaded"=dword:00000001
Would you please also attach/upload a zipped Autoruns arn file (no installation required) ?

As the forum provides more of an additional/secondary user-to-user support please also contact
the official support team with reference to this thread.

Please try a clean boot as described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353
Deactivate all non-Microsoft services except the DAEMON Tools one(s).

                      Hi Terramex,

                      Always not.

I had a similar problem (since solved) with qBittorrent [Issue], Malwarebytes Anti-Malware [Issue] and Sumatra PDF [Issue] and each time it was my non-SSE2 CPU the problem.

Or rather a compilation problem with MSVC 2013/2015 since 2008.

I'll do a clean install of Windows XP and 7 and see if the problem persists.

                      Thanks for all.
