  • PC crashed after rebooting from installation

Operating System: Windows XP Service Pack 2
Burning Software: Nero 6 Ultra Edition
Anti-virus Software: Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 8.1
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

After installation of Daemon Tools 3.47, I was asked to reboot PC. After rebooting, during the loading portion, I experienced a blue screen but was too fast to view the error. However when I uninstall Daemon Tools it's fine.

I will also be sending the dump file in the windows/minidump folder over to the email stated.

Are you sure this minidump was made after install?
I don't see Daemon drivers there, Did you change default names?

Hmm I didn't change the names.

I tried 3 times and it crashed 3 times. Maybe I send my other 2 dump files too?

1st 2 times were with other drivers though hmm.

Your other minidumps also don't show Daemon Tools drivers.

Hmm may I know what drivers are in there? Could it be a possible conflict between daemon and that driver cos the only thing i uninstalled from my PC after crash is Daemon and it works fine now.

Delete all your mindumps files to be sure and try again. Then check if smth was created.

                        Operating System: XP without SP
                        Burning Software: NERO 5
                        Anti-virus Software: Norton Antivirus 2003
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47 (at least i think so )

well i`ve got da same problem.Install gets smoothly but after rebooting there`s a blue screen that got some good-to-understand frazes. After second reboot i am loading XP in safe mode. After uninstalling daemon everything is cool. And one more thing - before getting into safe mode i`ve hitted the "last good working system" option or something like that and the win got loaded properly and when i wanted to start daemon there was an error about some SCSI driver stuff.I need this software and any help would be very useful.

p.s. you were takin` about some minidump - whats that?

Check if you've minidump in Windows\Minidump folder related to that crash, if so send newest file to support@daemon-tools.cc with reference to your post in this thread.
