  • No virtual drives, why?

    Operating System: Windows XP SP2
    Burning Software: Nero version 6
    Anti-virus Software: Norton AntiVirus 8
    DAEMON Tools Version: Daemon 3.47

I had no problems with installing Daemon tools, but when I enable 1,2,3 or 4 virtual drives none of them is shown under My Computer. However, they are listed in the device manager. When I look on driver details there are 2 drivers listed: Windows\System32\drivers\MxlW2K.sys and Windows\sytem32\drivers\pfc.sys
In the common solution thread I read that the drivers should be cdrom.sys, storprop.dll and redbook.sys.
I did find all those files on my systerm (Windows\system32\drivers in this folder).
As in the common solutions thread suggested i tried to install those drivers by pointing to cdrom.inf but the following message appears:couldn't install hardware because the needed software was not found.

    Plese help!

P.S. The same problem with Alcohol 120, no virtual drives are shown!
Working...
