unable to install SPTD driver

When I try using an SPSI drive to play old games I need to install the SPTD driver, and then when that happens and I reboot my system to complete the installation, it won't start so then I have to load a previous restore point so that I can use my PC. I am using Windows 8.

Any help would be appreciated.

Remove SPTD by using SPTDinst.exe located you installation path (like C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite). Go to DuplexSecure - Downloads (http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads) and download required SPTD for installation. (SPTD 1.89).
