With daemon tools installed the m-audio card can't install drivers and complete installation. installing d-tools before or after causes things like dvd playback to be corrupted. Cannot seek, sound is disabled.
My computer was fine with the audio card and dvd playback until I installed d-tools again to play final fight CD from the hdd.
Now the only way to fix the problem is a complete format/ reinstall of windows because daemon is still in there somewhere mucking things up.
I think the root of the problem is the audio card's last part of the installer where it wants to enable DMA and digital playback. I think it's trying to enable these things for d-tools and confuses it'self. whats really weird is that the corruption continues even after id-tools is removed.
