I hate to post a new thread, but all the threads I see are are related to Vampire:Bloodlines, and I need some help with its predecessor, Vampire:Redemption.
I cannot create a working backup, no matter what I try. I am 99% sure it's ProtectCD, and I have tried everything I know with Alc120 to mount a copy on my virtual drive, but nothing seems to fool the copy protection. Furthermore when I get 96%+- percent finished with a ProtectCD copy, my computer locks up: the cd drive keeps spinning but the rest of my system is unresponsive to the point that I have to physically reboot the system.
If any one of you folks has any idea how to make this copy (or why my system might be locking up at the end of a burn), I would appreciate the help.
