just wondering if you there is a daemon tools for 64 bit windows yet? or if it's under devolpement? if you need any beta testers for it, i'ld be happy to lend a hand.

Has any body else got windows-64 yet? if so, were you able to install it?

I've installed Windows XP x64 (Beta 1281) and I think it works great!

Daemon Tools is working on a 64-bit version (atleast I hope so!)
Lets wait some more until we can mount our images on the future AMD64 Operating System.

64bit-Version is already in development. We will announce it if we need
additional 64bit-betatesters.

Hi there,

So I wanted to install D-tools too and end up here!

As I now understand, there is no available D-tools for winxp x64, yet.

Is it possible to opt-in for a newsletter when a compatible x64 version from d-tools comes available?

Or do I need to return on a regular basis? Could you tell me how long it is gonna take to get such version developed?(I understand it's impossible to give an exact release date)

thnx in advance,

Tinux

no newsletter atm, we're already thinking about such option - but only
when there's indeed much interest. For now you've to visit our website
on a regular basis, sorry

Version is under development, but as always: no ETA yet

I notice some people have nero stated as their burning software. Does this work with XP x64?
Sorry to deviate from the topic

people interested in betatesting the new 64bit-version should add themselfes
to the new usergroup "DT 64Bit Testgroup"

Conditions to join the team are:

a) you need 64bit Hardware and of course OS
b) you've good knowledge of your system and you're not a newbie.
c) the usual confidential-agreements.

You must agree on all above mentioned conditions to join the betagroup

The betatest remains open until we have enough betatesters. The test
will start when we finnished the new 64bit_version. In case of additional
questions: post here

When the 64 bit version is going to be released ?

LocutusofBorg
09.03.2005, 14:30
we're talking about the betatest here and you ask for final version?

ok, short answer: when we tested it and it's bugfree and final version
is build. Than we release it

Actually Xeon or AMD64 doesnt matter, there is a version of Norton Antivirus Corporate that will work with x64. (1st page)
The Usergroup says its not accepting members, but I am more than willing to help test. No mountable drive for x64 is almost enough to make me go back to 32. What can I say, I'm to lazy to put CDs in.

LocutusofBorg

we've enough testers already, therefore the group is closed now. I guess
all "crazy" people checked our Homepage frequently and this is anyway
important to join the betateam. However, I will add you to the group,
but from now on, we accept no new members anymore, we've enough testers
now (never thought soo many persons sign in for betagroup)

LocutusofBorg

obviously not everyone read what I already wrote:

the group is full, we've enough testers already. Don't write
me PM's or emails anymore, we will not include any additional
betatesters, the boat is "full" ;)

LocutusofBorg
12.04.2005, 09:27
it seems, after all the postings here, I (or others) still receive mails/PMs
about the 64bit version.

From now on everyone who bother us about the 64bit-version, will lose the rights to write PM's, if even that isn't enough, we will delete the whole account

1hour/daily is lost now only because of answer people that don't understand
that our boat is already full. We don't need hundreds of betatesters.
Please be PATIENT and don't write me EMAILS nor PM's!!!!
Don't bother OTHERS here with requests

Thank you
