  • Changing to D drive

    Operating System: Windows XP
    Burning Software: HL-DT-ST CD-RW
    Anti-virus Software: Office Scan 7.1
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

I'm trying to install a game, and it tells me to insert a disc into the D: drive, but Daemon doesn't allow me to use the D: drive, I'm guessing because I already have one. Is there any way around this?

    Operating System: XP Pro
    Burning Software: Alcohol, Nero
    Anti-virus Software: AVG
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

Use computer manager to change your D:\ Drive to S:\ or something that isn't used then change Daemon tools to D:\ thats one way.

    START > RUN > compmgmt.msc /s
    Choose Disk Management
Right Click on Disk or Drive that is D:\
Choose Change Drive Letter and Paths for D:\
    Click Change
    Change to an new Letter
    Click OK

WARNING: If D:\ is a HDD then progs installed on it may not work while the letter is change SOLUTION = change back. XP can usually handle the letter (I've never had a problem) and everything will prob be ok but be warned.
