DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47
I can't post on the HELP forum so I'll try to post here....
I was running v3.47. Everything was working fine. I went to sleep and next day, I start up my computer and got a "no language support" error message. Read about all the post/error FAQ. Here's what I tried.
Uninstalled v3.47. No errors.
Rebooted. No errors.
Check all related files to make sure its uninstalled
starforce files, 3rd pary addon (never installed, but checked anyways)
d347prt -> removed
d347bus -> removed
Folder \D-Tools\ -> removed
Device Manager- Generic DVD-ROM SCSI CD-ROM device -> removed
Device Manager- D347prt SCSI controller -> removed
Device Manager- Pnp BIOS Extension -> removed
regedit- \\..CurrentControlSet\Services\..Daemon -> removed
msconfig- daemon.exe -lang 1033.dll -> removed
Reinstalled v3.47. No errors
Rebooted. No errors.
checked for all files/virtual device to see if created, everything is there
Received error msg "no language support".
msconfig- unchecked daemon.exe -lang 1033.dll
shortcut- "-lang 1033.dll" -> removed from command line
Rebooted. no errors.
Received error msg "no language support" when run shortcut
Uninstall v3.47. No errors.
Rebooted. No errors.
Installed v3.33. No errors. (suggestion from a previous post)
Rebooted. No errors.
Received error msg "product not installed" -> (what is this?)
Unstalled v3.33. No errors.
Rebooted. No errors.
Installed/Uninstalled v3.47 (3 more times)
Rebooted. No errors.
What I am doing wrong? My XP not able to read the 1033.dll?
My only option is to REFORMAT MY DRIVE? This is killing me!
