Daemon Tools Ultra Can't Validate License

I tried to use Tools Ultra and at launch, I was presented with a "Seems you haven't validated your license for some time..." error message, but when I click on "Activate" it fails to connect to any server. It never ran into this issue before and it can't connect even if I turn the Windows firewall off completely.

Any ideas on what suddenly changed?
