  • Mount directory

    I have movies I want to play from my Media Center PC.
    Most of them just are directories with a some files (VOB/IFO/BUP)
    To play them I currently create an image from them with Nero. Then I mount and play.
    It works fine but it would even be better if DT just could point to a directory and then mount it as if it was a image.

    Just an idea

    No need for that, just use DVD from folder option of most software DVD players. :idea:

      Hi, I think there is a need for that.

      I have lots of projects in deep directories
      eg C:\me\projects\2005\customer\projectX

      I can mount this directory as a network drive eg:
      X: -> \\mybox\projectX

      but this is slow as it goes trough network stack

      It would be cool if DAEMON tools allowed to map
      X: -> C:\me\projects\2005\customer\projectX

      even better if it would be READ/WRITE acces to the drive

      Maybe this can be done in some way already but I'am unabel to find such a solution

      thanks

          Sorry,
          I should have tried harder!

          I feel so stupid,
          I did use SUBST command a long time ago.

          The moment I saw SUBST i knew everything I needed.

          Thanks for the tip,
          Gregor
