  • no icon in system tray

    Operating System: xp
    Burning Software: nero
    Anti-virus Software: mc afee
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

whenever i boot or try to execute daemon tools, i don't have the daemon tools icon in the system tray. which means i can't mount anything and yes i know what the system tray is. does it have someting to do with the 25002 error?

Are you using UPnP? I had a problem with disappearing tray icons some time ago, and it was related to the UPnP service running... I found no workaround nor solution except disabling UPnP

Mount your images manually via command line...

      daemon.exe -mount 0,"%1"

...where %1 represents the path to the corresponding image file you want to mount.

I had the same problem, and I think I fixed it. Go to msconfig and disable daemon.exe to load on boot. Reboot. Then start it up manually with the desktop icon, and the tray icon appears. Hope this helps.
