  • Daemon Tools does not recognize small changes

Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP2
    Burning Software: Nero 6.6.0.13
Anti-virus Software: McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

    # Daemon Tools does not recognize small changes to an ISO that is unmounted, modified, and remounted.
    # I have never used CD Creator on this machine or with this image.

I've noticed that when making very small changes (for example, a few lines of code in a 30k script being written to a 600MB ISO), Daemon Tools does not recognize the changes. It will always use the original (pre-changes) version of the ISO, even if you unmount, recompile the ISO, and then remount. It's as if it is using a cached version of the ISO. My solution has been to close Daemon Tools, delete the ISO, recompile, open Daemon Tools, and remount to ensure I don't drive myself crazy trying to debug errors that have already been fixed.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Ensure you've auto insert notification (AIN) enabled.

Forgive me for possibly being daft here, but I don't see that option. If I right click the taskbar icon, and select options, "Automount" and "Autostart" are both enabled.

AIN is an OS feature, not a Daemon Tools option.
Easiest way is to change related option in CloneCD options.

I do have AIN turned on, and have had it on the entire time.
