  • How do you play a mounted cd image?

    Operating System: XP Pro
    Burning Software: Nero
    Anti-virus Software: NAV
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

I've heard on many forums that Daemon tools can be used instead of burning copies of cds, and emulating cd images. So I downloaded Daemon and mounted the image. That's as far as I got and I don't know what to do now. I checked in My Computer to see if there was a drive specifically for my image, but there was nothing there.
Can someone help me figure out how to use the image I've mounted?

How to: mount an image file to a virtual CD-ROM or DVD-ROM

    a) You mount images by:using the icon in the System Tray.
    b) You assign unique drive letters (up to 4) for each virtual CD-ROM or DVD-ROM you want mounted. To control which drive letter will be used:

Right click the DAEMON Tools tray icon... Virtual CD/DVD-ROM ... Device 0: ... Set device parameters ... There are two drop down comboboxes Drive Letter and DVD Region. Use the drive letter drop down

Of course you change the 'Device 0' part for the other drives. The drives will be accessible to all windows programs (except Roxio software) and appear under My Computer.

Nothing happens, it loads a bit after I give a letter but I don't see any new icons in My Computer. I even rebooted without success.
