  • Error 25001. Device setup error: code 25001 (0x61A9), 6 (0x6)

Operating System: Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Build #2600)
    Burning Software: None
    Anti-virus Software: None
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

    I get Device setup error: code 25001 (0x61A9), 6 (0x6). whenever i install.

Problem occured when i was using daemon tools single drive(was working at first), wanted to add addition drives, but no matter how i add there is no drive letter assigned to the drives.(Added drives and rebooted)
So i tried uninstalling, rebooted and reinstall.

But no matter how many times i reboot and reinstall i get the same error.

    Event Viewer only shows this
Product: DAEMON Tools -- Error 25001. Device setup error: code 25001 (0x61A9), 6 (0x6) . Contact your support personnel.

Tried scanning my system files for irregularities, but nothing was found.

    Anyone know whats wrong?

Please clean or move setupapi.log, reboot, then try to install - if you get error again send setupapi.log to support@daemon-tools.cc with reference to this thread (unpacked or RAR-packed, NOT zip'ed).
