  • Installing SCSI

    Operating System: WinXP SP2
    Burning Software: Nero
    Anti-virus Software: AVG
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

OK start to install DTools and at the end is tries to search for a SCSI driver. Ok I saw the post in common solutions. Uninstalled DTOOLs. Nothing in device manager. Files not in System32/drivers folder and nothing showing in the registry. Rebooted and tried again. Again starts to look for the SCSI. Cant find it - reboots and DTools saying Invalid Device.

    Any other suggestions?

Try to disable antivirus or any other program that manages components like some Anti-spyware programs and then install daemon. Might be an incomplete installation the reason you are getting the error.

      ...

try running SFC /SCANNOW and have your windows installation CD ready in case you are prompted to replace corrupted or missing files.

Check if you've a file called infcache.1 or similar on your system, try to (re-)move/rename it, then try again.
