Just to be sure, you don't get the Daemon Tools icon in your system tray?

        Can't run Daemon Tools

        Hello

There is no Daemon Tools icon sitting in the system tray. I've tried uninstalling and then installing again and zilch. The shortcut just sits on my Desktop mocking me.

Been to solutions forum can't see a solution there either.

        Regards
        Terence

            Can't start Daemon Tools

            Hello

Been to the website, done what needs to be done, still no Daemon Tools, but I do have a very simple answer to all this - goodbye Daemon Tools. So it's back to Virtual Drive, that does work.

            Regards
            Terence

Actually Daemon Tools should autostart after required reboot during installation.
So you don't see the tray icon? Then check related thread in common problems and solutions forum.

                        From Terence

As I started this thread and eventually gave up trying to install Daemon Tools, perhaps somebody can tell me how to get rid of the virtual drive that the program created. You would think that it would have been deleted after uninstalling , but no the bloody thing is still there.

I do now know why the Daemon Tools icon could not be seen in the system tray. I had previously installed a utility that gets rid of the messenger icon, which is also preventing the Daemon Tools icon from being displayed.

                        Regards
                        Terence

Manual removal procedure is mentioned in thread about error 25002 in common problems and solutions forum; reboot after the procedure.

I don't know wheter to treat you people seriously enogh or what, but your solution to manual removal does not work.

I am not a programmer, so why do you not offer a solution to what is probably a very simple procedure. Can I suggest a course in customer relations?
