The desktop icon just loads the tray application e.g. in case you don't want Daemon Tools to autostart.

Is the thread title not clear enough?

              same problem

"Is the thread title not clear enough?

Im sorry but i have the same problem and this link has nothing to do with it as far as I can tell. I have installed d-tools and it will not execute. Please at least give us a suggestion as to what may be the cause. I too have looked around the site and could find no solutions. The title of the link you gave does not appear to address our concern. Thanks in advance.

Links to other posts that were posted before we changed to the new forum don't work anymore.

Had you read the whole thread, you should've found the thread anyway - that was what Copytrooper meant with "Is the thread title not enough?.

Quoting him again: "Check related thread in common problems and solutions forum." How hard is it to do that instead of just sitting there and waiting until someone takes the last tiny peace of work (checking related thread in... you know) for you?!

Try finding it. I'm sure you'll succeed. Really. If you're still unable to follow such simple instructions... *sigh* here you go.
                "I was inappropriately blunt, wasn't I? Sorry, I do that a lot."
