  • BSOD at the very last part of installation(347)

    Operating System: Winxp
    Burning Software: N/A
    Anti-virus Software: N/A
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

Hey, i was installing Daemon tools 3.47 yesterday when at the very last part of the installation(progress bar was ALMOST done) i got a BSOD.

I tryed removing it completly, then reinstalling, it did the same thing.

When i try to run it after the BSOD, it says somthing about an invalid language thing. My main concern is the BSOD.

I don't have any of the star drivers(according to your removal program)

    Can anyone help? Thanks!

    What did the BSOD say?
    "I was inappropriately blunt, wasn't I? Sorry, I do that a lot."

Try manually removing Daemon Tools as described here. Then try installing again.

Please also check the thread BSOD in SCSIPORT.SYS during Daemon Tools installation, and check if you have a minidump in Windows\Minidump. If so, please send the newest one related to Daemon Tools to support@daemon-tools.cc, referencing this thread.

By the way, our mail server filters all but .rar attachments, so if you're going to compress the minidumps, please remember that.
