  • Device # stays after un-installation

Operating System: Win XP Pro, SP2
    Burning Software: Nero
    Anti-Virus: Norton Anti-Virus 2005
    D-Tools version: DAEMON-Tools v3.47

So, with som Anti-Blaxx issues, my D-Tools broke down, and wouldn't start, so that left me unavailable to deactivate the emulation-device (0).

I didn't think that would be a such a big problem, so I un-installed the D-Tools and installed it again.
So the problem is, when I deactivate my current device from the newest D-Tools install, the inactive device still stays there and keeps the games I actually bought from starting. That really grinds my gears, so I'm asking you, if there is a solution.

Sorry if this has been posted before. Thanks for all the help.

You have to manually remove the old drive.
For this look into the Common Problems and solutions forum, the first and the Anti-Blaxx thread should solve your problem.
