  • image mounted, doesnt detect CD, help

I've mounted the image file(.mds) and have the date file (.mdf) in the same folder. I mount the image file with daemon-tools, but it still doesnt detect a CD. I have all the emulation options on. Also, when i go to My Computer and double click on the drive(T), it asks me to insert a disc. can anyone help?

Try to remake the image in Alcohol and try again, maybe the image wasn't created successfuly.

Autorun and Auto Insert Notification (AIN)

Your problem seems to be related to Auto Insert Notification but I would turn on both drive type Autorun and Auto Insert Notification (AIN).

This thread details instructions for turning either of those settings on:

This program relates to Autorun, but you might as well try it if you're interested (I don't think this program changes AIN settings):
autofix.exe (Autoplay Repair Wizard) from microsoft downloads

p.s. DAEMON Tools v4 has a built in way to configure the Operating System's Auto Insert Notification setting
      the modern world:
      net helpmsg 4006
