    Are you running your pc at Admin level, if not that could be a possible problem. http://www.appdeploy.com/faq/msi_errors/detail.asp?id=9

      There are three settings for allowing unsigned driver installation. Check the setting in the Local Security Policy control panel.

      I'm not sure about the log portion you posted. I could be wrong. The most useful thing is to tell us the message that appears on the screen when the installation fails (Ex. Error 25002 or Error 25009 or Error # ... ).

        I don't know if this will be helpful to anyone, but the error code 0x80070422 is an HRESULT that means:

        The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
        Maybe if you look in the Event log (assuming you're running Win2k or WinXP) you can get an idea of what service has the problem and maybe why.

          Are you an Admin level user or not? That could be an issue.
