no daemon tools in control panel / software

I used the new 4.x installer clicked update from 3.47 and
it did the job. I did not see any entry related to approving
or unticking the installation of searchbar or anything else like that.

I checked my control panel Software entries for daemon tools
and it is NOT present in there !?!?! Although it is running and
shows the new version number (it doesnt look different to
3.47 at all though only the new version is shown).

Wtf is it not in the software remove panel !? DD

I also have WhenU on the system now, maybe i didnt see
the option to untick cause i used update installation, but
i also dont see the option to remove it either !

Can someone help me or is it plain safe to remove it with
adaware now and it will not affect daemon tools itself ?

There is no entry in control panel software to avoid stupid blacklistings. Remove Daemon Tools via its un-installation icon in Daemon Tools program group.
But there should be an entry for the Search Bar in control panel -> software, so if you don't want it just remove it there.

After Uninstalling the DT4, The Drivers are remained on system yet. How to prevent sptd.sys , dtscsi.sys being loaded ?

Rename them, reboot, then delete them if you want.

i make an oath before god that there is no searchbar entry
in control panel software so i just used adaware and
removed it . Seemed to work.

And btw dont get sore crew .. i registerd 2 days ago

Sorry to say I have no program group either to uninstall DT 4.01 from. I am trying to revert my XP-64 system back to previous state due to the compability problem with Nero...

Any hints how I can proceed to remove DT4?

Check thread about how to remove v4 in common problems and solutions forum. The Nero issue should be fixed with next version.

If (for some strange reason) you don't have a shortcut in your Start menu, then just run "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools\uninst.exe" manually to remove it.
