Is there any way to turn off the write protect on the virtual drives? I want to delete some files I don't need and can't seem to be able to do so.

Thanks,
sara

Nope. I think you want support for packet writing. You'll need real discs for that.

DAEMON Tools can't modify the image files mounted in its Virtual CD/DVD-ROM drive(s).

You can use a program able to edit the ISO images (for example UltraISO).
You open the image, delete / add what you like, and then save the new modified image.
