Does anyone have a Tages protected game to verify this?
I think people at Tages are just afraid that their precious protection has been beaten

I have the game Fahrenheit, and it's contain tags protection, I will check it and fedback here.

Fahrenheit dont work or any other Tage game of mine
i can play some older games and the 1.0 version of Fahrenheit
but the 1.1 version i cant it say put the original dvd in
they lol is that is reading only the original after i get the message... if i dont have it in it just say put the dvd in to start

It Does or Doesnt, its the Problem.

I've Tested the new DT on a TAG simulated CD. I mean the technique ... Heading Forward and Backward by Virtual CDs.
It works 99% similar the physical CD Drives, But you must feed the Emulator with a correct Image.
If your Tages Example does not works its only becuase your image is taken with a tool that is not able to get a working image from Tages protection. That seems there is not any program availble to get a correct image at the moment.

I can also confirm this is a problem, just installed Ski Racing 2006 which is tages protected and even with the original CD in the drive I get the message to insert the original disk

I prefer Tages to Starforce, and well we have to wait for VIde and then for DTPro.
