  • Won't unmount

I did a stupid thing!! I uninstalled an older version (I am unsure which version it was) of Daemon Tools before unmounting a drive. I installed the latest version and, of course, it didn't recognize it as a virtual drive. I tried removing both the controller and drive from the device manager (This is Windows XP) and when I reboot, the drive reappears. I am at a loss on how to get rid of that virtual drive.

    Can anyone help?

When uninstall Daemon Tools all virtual drives are unmounted and removed automatically. Unistall latest Daemon tools from control panel and reboot.
