D-Tools screwed me over?

For the past couple of years I have been using D-Tools version 3.41. I just recently decided to install D-Tools 4 but after I rebooted my pc. There was actually no more audio. I heard no opening music from when the computer starts up or to music from mp3 files. I know that D-Tools is the one that did this because I used system restore to go back and uninstall it without upgrading to version 4.

All I really want to know is how to fix this and be able to have version four on my pc instead of this outdated one. Thanks in advance.
