Un-install Daemon Tools, check one of the following threads to remove leftovers of previous installed version completely, reboot after the procedure:

v4.0x:

v3.43-v3.47:

Hello, I recently uninstalled D-Tools v3.31, however it has left a drive which after reinstalling the latest D-Tools I could not remove.

I looked through the forum and found this thread, but the link provided are broken. Can someone please give me a new link to try and work out this problem, or tell me what I need to do. Thanks, Dan

You should always check the stickied topics in the Common problems & solutions (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/error-25002-invalid-driver-names-t2138.html) forum when you have a problem.

Thanks for the reply Jito, however the link there says it is only for v3.43 - v3.47, and I am trying to fix a problem caused by v3.41. Is it the same method, or is there another method to do this?

Note that the following procedure is required for v3.43 - v3.47 only!
For removal of v4.0x check the thread about how to remove v4.
For removal of versions <v3.43 check the following threads:
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/t448...ill-there.html
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/t533...d-version.html
Ensure you reboot after the procedure(s) to complete un-installation.
