  • Can't Initialize Daemon Tools

I installed daemon tools 4.0.3, rebooted my computer and clicked on the shortcut and it couldn't initialize it. It gives me the following error message:
    Initialization error.
This program requires at least windows 2000 with sptd 1.24 or higher. Kernel debugger must be deactivated.

It can't be that my operating system is too old, because I have windows xp professional sp2, tried redownloading it and reinstalling it but it does the same thing, and my computer meets the requirements. What's the problem?
