  • My pendrive is not visible in windows XP

After instalation daemon tools 4.0 my pendrive is not visible in "My computer". When I open "Disc Management" pendrive is visible but without drive letter and I must asign this manually. When I do it pendrive exist in total commander but isn't visible in "My computer". After restart I must asign drive letter again. (Sorry for my English)

    Same problem!!

Yeah, Ive got the exact same problem. I got so frustrated that I smashed my pendrive to bits. a New problem arised as well; I cannot open Deamon Tools anymore and I cant even uninstall it. Im soooooo frustrated!!!! Supposedly I have to deactivate a Kernel Debugger before I can open DTools. And when I want to uninstall I get a message; 'Cannot validate installation. WTF??? Why Oh Why does everything have to be sooooo complicated???!!!!!

      Restore registry

If you made a backup of your registry, just restore the backed up file. This will change your PC in a lot of ways but at least I can detect my pendrive in My Computer again. And I was able to uninstall and re-install Deamon Tools...PRESTO
