  • How to disable Autorun (cmdline or shell) ?

    Hi,
Because I can't find any search on the forum, I ask for this, but the answer is perhaps already there...
So, I would like to disable autorun when the image mount: how to do this ?

Download power toys for windows from microsoft.com. Install and run tweakui and there is an option for this.

Autorun is not a feature of Daemon Tools but of OS!

          Did you now ?

Users can manually suppress AutoRun by holding down the SHIFT key when they insert the CD-ROM. However, it is usually preferable to handle this operation programmatically rather than depending on the user.

            Disabling Autorun

            Operating System: N/A
            Burning Software: N/A
            Anti-virus Software: N/A
            DAEMON Tools Version: N/A

Open the iso image with something like winiso and then remove the autorun.inf file from the image now it will not autorun.

            Cheers,

            PleX
