  • Help the D-tools driver is huanting me.

After uninstalling D-tools and running sptdinst_x86.exe remove in Win XP 32 bit and removing the IVI virtual CD SCSI CDRom Device in the device manager. Windows XP will still reinstall a bogus drive named IVI Virtual CD SCSI CDRom Device . What do I need to do short of reformatting to get rid of this thing?

Daemon Tools does not create an "IVI Virtual CD SCSI CDRom Device" (unless you gave it that name via drive parameters dialog).
Check in Windows\System32\Drivers folder if sptd.sys and dtscsi.sys are removed.
